For 25 years, I worked in web development, helping everyone from Fortune 500 companies to startups… and even the occasional rock star. These days, I still serve a handful of my favorite clients, but after decades behind a screen, I wanted something more grounded. Something real.
That’s how Root Force got started. I’ve lived coast to coast, from California to Maine and down to Maryland, but beautiful Tennessee is home now, and has been for the past three years. When I ran into stump problems on my own property, I realized how annoying they can be.
Now I run a Carlton 6016, a remote-controlled beast of a machine that obliterates even the toughest stumps. It’s fun to use.
Root Force is a family business. My wife takes care of calls, billing, and the occasional Facebook post (when she’s not counseling kids at Pine Haven Elementary). My son helps out too.
